Phytoplankton Analysis

We undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis of phytoplankton based on the methods proposed by USEPA (2010) and APHA (2012). Specimens can be identified down to family or genus level, and to species level for some common species in tropical waters. Taxa diversity index and abundance are routinely included in the report. Specimen images are provided upon request as photographic evidence for the presence of the organisms in the samples.


Zooplankton Analysis

Quantitative and qualitative analysis of zooplankton are conducted based on the method proposed by USEPA (2003) and APHA (2012). Specimen can be identifies down to family or genus level, with some common species in tropical waters identified down to species level. Taxa diversity index and abundance are routinely included in the report. Specimen images are provided upon request as photographic evidence for the presence of the organisms in the samples.


Macrobenthos and meiobenthos analysis

Quantitative and qualitative analysis of macrobenthos/ meiobenthos are based on the methods by Bight (2008) and APHA (2012). Specimens can be identified down to order or class level. Some species in tropical environment are possible to identify down to species level. Taxa diversity index and abundance are routinely included in the report. Specimen images are provided upon request as photographic evidence for the presence of the organisms in the samples.
